Originally from Latvia, Sophia has lived in Napa Valley for many years. She has always been fascinated by gems and eventually discovered that her creativity was stimulated best by working with them.

As an artist, she does not believe in forcing the stones into any particular style of jewelry. She makes each piece by selecting the stones that enhance each other's beauty by being either similar or contrasting. Sometimes it is an easy flowing process and sometimes not... Some stones might wait years to become part of a necklace... Some stones tell her what they want to become quite willingly while others choose to remain an enigma a bit longer.

Each unique piece is made only of natural stones and sterling silver and will bring joy to more than one generation of art lovers.
